"I shopped around quite a bit before I bought the Canon MP470. I really wanted a laser because I print mostly text documents, but my boss at work has a MP470 printer at home and he swears by it.

He brought me a sample of some documents that he had printed, and I was amazed at how sharp the text looks. Best that I have seen from an inkjet!In fact, the Canon Pixma Mp470 has excellent resolution for the copier and scanner,too!

I am always in a rush to get things done, so it is great that the printer powers up almost immediately.

For the price I paid, the MP470 has got to be the steal of the century!

"I had never owned an all-in-one printer before, but I have an office in my home now, and I really needed one.I almost got the Lexmark X4650, however I thought the scanner was better on the MP470. I even thought about getting a photo printer- the Canon ip4600
But I discovered that the Canon MP470 really rocks!It is hard to believe how cleanly and clearly it prints!
The set up was alot easier than I thought it would be, as the screen directions are very easy to understand.

The Canon Mp470 prints fast, too! MUCH faster than the inkjet we are forced to use at work. My wife mostly uses the copier, and she says it also has good resolution. She was the one that gave me the idea to write this MP470 review!

My oldest son gave me the Canon MP470 for my 50th birthday, and I am really happy with it so far!It fits great in my tiny office, and prints like a little "madman!" It prints photos, especially 4X6 size quite fast, and the color comes out GREAT!

I use the scanner only once in awhile, and it seems o.k., but I'm no expert. The MP470 really shines when it comes to text, as good as my old Panasonic laser that I sold.

Hopefully, this MP470 review will convince people that the Canon MP470 can't be beat for the price!"
